Start paying attention to those areas you’ve gotten comfortable giving excuses for: tardiness, lack, anxiety, fear, “I don’t know how”, “it just happened”…you fill in the blank.
Just like anything practiced, you get better at it and it expands. When you find yourself justifying things that, if you’d make modifications, would work out to your advantage, it’s time to change it.
